May Hip Kit Club Layouts

I loved the colors in the May Hip Kit.  They went perfectly with Cameron's end of Kindergarten (sniff, sniff) pictures.

KINDERGARTEN CELEBRATION

I bought myself Adobe Photoshop sometime ago and have not really figured out how to use it but today I figured out how to make a photostrip.  I think they turned out really cute.

LAST DAY OF KINDERGARTEN

I can't believe my baby is going to start First Grade in the fall.  Time sure does fly when you are a momma.
He is such a handsome young man.

I also figured out how to make these super cool flower embellishments.  They take awhile to make but well worth the time if you do them right.

OUR STAR

Cameron played coach pitch baseball this year.

STYLING'

At one of Cameron's baseball games, Sami chose this ensemble to wear.  She was the talk of all the parents who couldn't get over how cute she looked.  And if I must say so myself, she did look super duper cute.

April Hip Kit Layouts

Most of the April layouts I did while at the Spring Scrapbook Weekend that Hip2B Square Scrapbooking hosts each year.  I went to the one in October and it was a blast.  It was my Mother's Day present from Jeff and the kids.  I am so lucky to be able to go.  I got 24 layouts done this time, two more than last time.  The best part was the I finally finished my Disney album.

HEDDO

Sami can't quite say Hello yet, so it it Heddo.  She loves this sparkly pink hat and loves to pretend to talk on phones.  She has probably 6 or 7 phones around the house.  This is the perfect picture to capture where she is right now.

MY GIRL

Just a cute snapshot of Sami looking at the flowers in the front flower bed.

MY LOVES

This picture was taken on Mother's Day 2011.  I love my kiddos so much and am so proud to be their momma.

THIS IS LOVE

Since Sami was born, Cameron has always been right up in her face telling her stories, what's what and so forth.  I love the way see is eyeing him.

March Layouts

The colors in the March Kit were perfect for our Easter pictures.

AS IF....

I love these pictures.  The kids did not want to take Easter Pics.  Let's face it, they never want me to take their pictures.  Cameron told me the other day the "it wastes HIS energy" when I take all of those pictures of him.  How funny is that.  I told Cameron to hold Sami's hand and she looked at him like he was crazy.

LIL BLOSSOM

This picture was taken at Busch Garden's in Williamsburg, VA.  It was nice and sunshiney and the flowers were out.  Totally unlike Seattle at the time.

EASTER '11

We had to take two Easter bunny pictures this year.  We took one and paid an incredible amount of money for one while we were at Busch Garden's in Williamsburg, VA but upon arriving at home found that we were given the wrong picture.  So off to Factoria for Easter bunny picture number two.  It turned out very cute.

FUNNY FACE

Every now and then I will try to get the kids to goof off and pose for a bunch of pictures just to see what kind of expressions I can get from them.  These are from one of those photo shoots with Sami.  Her personality really shines in these.

Another February Layout

NAPPING BUDS

This picture of Dad and Sami was taken in Texas while we were there for my dear Uncle Tuck's funeral.  He passed away on February 25th.  I still have a very hard time believing that he is gone.  He was such a special person and I am so proud to say that he was "MY" uncle.

Last summer Uncle Tuck and Aunt Sue came to Idaho for Stef's graduation and we went on what I called "the old fogey" tour through Idaho to visit all of my great aunts and uncles and lots of second and third cousins.  Sami and I got to ride with my dad and Uncle Tuck for the trip and I am so THANKFUL that I had that special time hanging with my dad and Uncle.  All of the other womenfolk would have been itching up a storm since they spent a good deal of the time talking about airplanes, motorcycles and other manly topics.  I wasn't itching, I was just enjoying their company.  Now looking back I see how lucky I was to get to spend that extra special time with Dad and Uncle Tuck just BSing on a road trip through the state of Idaho.  I wouldn't trade that for anything.

This is a picture of me and Uncle Tuck taken in August of 2008.  Sami was just two weeks old when we went to Montana for a family reunion.  We spent a glorious week in Hungry Horse, Montana.  It was a great time for Sami to meet the family.  Our family is so special and we just love to hang out together even though we don't get to do it very often, but when we do, we have fun.  Granny wouldn't have it any other way!  That is just the way that she raised us!

I miss and love you Uncle Tuck.

February Layouts

I really loved February's kit.  Kimberly does such a good job of  putting the kits together.  This month's colors went great with some of my favorite pictures.

BEAUTIFUL YOU

I love this picture of Sami.  Rarely do I get her actually looking at the camera when I take a picture of her.

BIKE RODEO

This bicycle paper was perfect to go with the Tanner Jeans Bike Rodeo pictures that I have had waiting to scrap.

GOOBIE DO

One of my many nicknames for Sami is Goobie Do  (instead of Scooby Do)

THAT FACE

While Sami has the bluest of blue eyes, Cameron has the brownest of brown eyes.  This picture is several years old.  I just love this little boy.

January Layouts

LIL MISS BLUE EYES

This months kit had the perfect paper to match Sami's eyes.  I broke out my little cuttlebug (the poor thing has been really neglected) and embossed some of the cardstock with hearts.

OH THE THINGS I HAVE TO SHOW YOU.....

I love this picture of Cameron holding Sami when she was just a few days old.  He looks like he is telling her all the things that she is going to have to know to be a part of our family.  He has adored her since this first moment he laid eyes on her.

PRECIOUS MEMORIES

This is the first time that Cameron got to give Sami a bottle.

LOVE YOU WITH ALL MY HEART

This picture was taken at the Mother's Tea at Cameron's preschool last year.  I can't tell you how much I love that little boy.  He is such a part of my heart.

December Layouts

I am playing catchup.  Here are my December Hip 2B Square layouts.  (Sorry to Kimberly for not keeping up with this)

BAKING COOKIES WITH MOM

WE ARE FAMILY

This family photo was taken at the Christmas Brunch at TPC Snoquamlie.

OUR BACKYARD FRIENDS ARE HOME SWEET HOME

Living next to the woods brings all sorts of critters to your backyard.  Makes life interesting to say the least, especially when you get the bears.

GRANNY

I especially like this layout because it is about one of my favorite people, my Granny.  She was such a special wonderful lady and anyone who had the pleasure of knowing her was blessed and those related to her are just the luckies people in the whole world.  I miss her so much more everyday.
