November Hip Kit Layouts

Loved this kit.  Had fun putting the layouts together.  My new find is Liquid Pearls by Ranger.  It comes in the same little bottles like Stickles.  I bought Silver Pearl and Bisque.  They are awesome and give a total different look/dimension to your layouts.

SANTA'S NEW RIDE
Last year the Jone's invited Cameron and Sami over to see the Fireman Santa.  Santa came in the firetruck and brought presents for all the kids.  It was so nice to be invited to take part.  The kiddo's had a blast.

A NIGHT AT THE BALLET
We took the kids to Nutcracker at the Meydenbauer.  We got to go early and see some of the characters of the ballet before it started.  Both kids loved the ballet.  Sami loved the dancing and Cameron loved the battle between the Nutcracker and the Mouse King.

I made a pocket on the right page to put the playbill and tickets.  I put a small pocket inside the bigger pocket to insert the tickets so they would be seen better.

SANTA

Last year Sami did not want to sit on Santa's lap.  This year she was all over it.  She told him what she wanted and was very excited.

CHRISTMAS 2011

Our annual Christmas Family Picture taken at TPC Snoqualmie.  I used liquid pearls on the black circle.

November Hip Kit Cards

Kimberly is doing 29 Days of Christmas Cards and wanted me to make some cards for that.  I'm not much of a card maker, but gave it a whirl.  I think they came out really cute.

October Hip Kit Layouts

This was an awesome kit.  I loved it and it fit perfectly with my halloween and fall pics this year.

BEAUTY AND THE BEAST

When else can you find Snow White and Darth Vader together.  When it's halloween and your children get to decide their own costumes.

BEST COSTUME

Sami wanted me to take a bunch of pictures of her in her Snow White outfit.  I got quite a few cute ones.

Leaf Pile

Cameron had a blast jumping in the leaf pile Daddy made in the lower yard.  I love catching him in moments when he just having tons of fun.  His red Angry Bird hat is super cute too.

Perfect Fall Day

On an afternoon while Cameron was still in school, I did a little fall gardening and made a leaf pile for Sami.  Fun to be had by all.

The Force.....

Cameron loved being Darth Vader for Halloween this year.

Pinterest Inspired Project

I found this really cool mirror at the local thrift shop and thought it was the perfect princess mirror other than the fact that it was gold.  So I got some pretty purple spray paint and fixed that.  It turned out so cute.

Mirror Miror on the Wall!

September Hit Kit Layouts

I am a horrible blogger.  I always forget that I even have one. And then when I think about it, it has been several months since I've posted.  Oh well, at least I eventually get around to it :-)

This was a fun kit to use.  I did most of these layouts while I was participating in the Hip 2B Square Fall Retreat.  I didn't get alot of pages done, but I had a fabulous time.

1st Grade

I am using this same layout design for all of my kiddos 1st day of school page layouts so there is some sort of similarity in their albums when they finish school and I hand over the book to them.

My Children of the Corn

The kiddos were playing hide and seek in the corn maze when we went to the punkin patch this year.  I got some good snaps.

Fall Fun

Just the annual pic of the kiddos on a pile of pumpkins.  I'm sure in a couple of years I won't be able to get these kind of pics.

My Sweet Pumpkins

I actually got them to sit next to each other for a pic.  They wouldn't smile but I have to take what I can.  I made one of those cool flowers for this page.  I just saw that Tim Holtz has a die that cuts and makes the perfs for these, I'm hoping Santa will bring me one for Christmas.

A couple of Pinterest Projects

I love Pinterest.  It gives you so many ideas to make decor for your home.  I am obsessed with Christmas Trees.  I found these ideas on Pinterest and had to make them

These are made out of Poster Board and wrapping paper.  Amy and I decided to try them with wrapping paper before we move onto using fabic, so if we screwed up we wouldn't be out too much money.

These are dollar store candlesticks spray painted white and styrofoam cones sprinkled with glitter.  So very cute.
