Guest Designer for We R Memory Keepers

I was so thrilled and honored to be asked by We R Memory Keepers to be a Guest Designer for May.  I posted a layout on their Facebook page that I had done with one of their new Lucky 8 Punches, and through that, I have this incredible opportunity to design for them.

We R Memory Keepers sent me some products from their Anthologie line.  The papers are filled with beautiful aquas, reds, yellows and browns.

YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL

For this layout, I used the Floral Burst Lucky 8 punch.  I can't tell you how much I love these new punches.  They are awesome.  I cut a bracket out of the Damask paper.  Included in my product was a wonderful Anthologie stamp set with a Dragonfly.  I stamped the image onto the Phraseology paper and hand cut them out and adhered them with pop dots.  The Everyday Moments paper was great.  I was able to cut out all of the little journaling blocks and use the titles for my layouts.  I also hand cut with a craft knife along a leaf and flower of the Medley paper.  I tucked the edge of the Damask bracket paper and the edge of the photo under the flowers and leaf.  I used the frame of the Life Quote Embossed Die cut for one of my photos.  I really like the trend of paint splatters right now, so I added a few random drops of a color mist in matching colors.

REMEMBER/KINDRED SPIRITS
For this layout, I used the Retro scallop Lucky 8 punch.  I chose to use only half of a paper and added a title block from the Everyday Moments paper.  I added some paint splats and machine stitching along with the Kindred Spirits Embossed Die.  I had some We R Memory Keepers Sew Easy Fancy Floss in my stash and tied some Lemonade floss around the layout.  With all of the little scraps that I had left over, I punched out a bunch of flowers and scalloped circle shapes and layered them and finished them off with the Anthologie Printed fabric buttons.

CARDS
When I am done making layouts, I like to use the leftover scraps to make cards.  The Everyday Moments paper had these great little sayings that were perfect for the card.
For this card, I used the Thanks saying, a journaling block, a stamped dragonfly and the Retro Scallop Lucky 8 punch.  I like that you can cut them down and use just part of them for a really cool effect.  I also used the filigree stamp from the Dragonfly stamp set on the corners of the card.

The second card, I used the Thank you for all that you are saying, a stamped dragonfly, the filigree stamp in the corner and the Floral Burst Lucky 8 punch.

I hope you enjoyed the layouts and cards that I made with the new We R Memory Keepers Anthologie Line.  I loved being asked to Guest Design for them.  Happy Scrapping!
