Happy New Year!  It's been awhile since I've posted.  It's also been awhile since I've scrapped.  I took a little time off for the holidays.

A group of friends and I are now scrapping once a month at our local library and it got my creative juices flowing again.  Even though I'm not on the Hip 2B Square design team anymore, I bought myself the November kit as I needed some Christmas paper.  I also went shopping while I was in Idaho over the holidays and picked up some other Christmas lines to work on my Christmas album.

These are my newest layouts.  I have accumulated quite a stash over the last few years, so I am going back into my leftovers and trying to use them.  So some of the embellishments are old.  Enjoy.

JUST WHAT I WANTED....

Isn't this just the cutest picture of Sami.  It was on our Christmas gift that they made in preschool this year.  When I first saw the Jillibean Soup pink and red wood grain patterned paper, I wasn't sure I would ever use it.  But then I noticed the wood paneling behind Sami and she was wearing pink and it was PERFECT from my background.  I splatted some white and silver mist and then dabbed some Silver Stickles pearls.

ONE OF THESE IS NOT LIKE THE OTHER

Every year my family makes fun of my stocking.  My sister made them all for us.  The really sad thing is that she made my hubby a nicer one than she made me.  I think it should tell me something about how much my sister loves me.  (It doesn't even face the right way, oh well.)  Well my niece sent me a text a couple weeks before Christmas to make fun of me, so I used that text message as my journaling.

CHRISTMAS CUTIES

Every Christmas I take a pic of the kiddos in front of the tree.  The JOY, and felt flowers are from Hip Kits that are several years old.

CREEPY SANTA

Our church was trying to raise money to go to a mission team going to Honduras this spring to build a house for a very deserving family.  Creepy Santa would get left on your step to help raise money for the trip.  He ended up on our step after we got home from Idaho for the holidays.  The kids loved having Creepy Santa, I just thought, well he was creepy.
